Kedron Wavell Services Hockey Club’s senior men’s section has had a perfect start for the 2020 season with them taking home the Tiger Turf Cup silverware for the first time.
With what can only be called a dream tournament the Wolves only gave one goal away over the whole event taking the Cup home to Burringbar Park when they took down hosts Eastern Suburbs 2-1.
It took two amazing goals from the Wolves to get the lead; a base line zero percentage Tomahawk from Jacko (Jackson Willie), before the match winning scorcher from the Sarge (Matt Argent).
The Adina “Man of the Match” went to our very own Kula Bhullar, and a special mention must be made to the amazing Radar (Troy Rossiter) who was in everything and everywhere to ensure the Tigers stayed out.
