🌟 260 PL1 GAMES! 🌟

On Saturday, Britt Francis (nee Wilkinson) played her 260th PL1 game! What a tremendous milestone this is! Britt started playing for the KW wolves in the Minky Modified competition in 2003, where she even tried out as a Goal Keeper but decided she preferred scoring goals rather than saving them. She made the Senior Australian Development Squad in 2019, after being the top scorer in Hockey One that year. Before that she was in Queensland Scorchers. She debuted for our Kedron Wavell Division 1 team in 2011 at just 14 years old and since then has only missed a handful of games across all the seasons.

To top that, she has scores a whopping 255 goals!! She has scored the most goals in PL1 history beating the next closest at 129 goals!

Congratulations on this spectacular achievement Wilko, you are a wolf through and through and we have loved watching you grow as a hockey player and person over the years. 💙🐺❤️

Kedron Wavell Hockey Club is calling all juniors and men of every level to join our 2026 pre‑season!

Whether you’re new to the game, returning after a break, or already playing at a high level, everyone is welcome.

And if you’re a player who believes you can step up into Division 1 or senior men, this is your chance to train with the squad, test yourself, and show what you can bring.

We’re a developing club with genuine opportunities for players who are hungry to grow.

We’re especially keen to see:

• Ambitious young players ready to push into senior hockey
• Experienced players looking for a fresh environment
• Athletes who’ve missed out on top‑tier teams elsewhere and want a real pathway
• All ages and skill levels who simply love the game and want to be part of a supportive club
