It’s with great sadness that we notify you that life member, William (Bill) Hill, passed away yesterday (2nd January) morning at Prince Charles Hospital.
His wife Helen, also a life member, and family have been sitting with Bill over Christmas and New Year.
Helen and Bill have been married for 55 years and have 3 children (John, Kevin and Janet), daughter-in-law Angie, son-in-law Tim and 4 grand-daughters Mikahla, Nikita, Ngaire and Ainsley.
Bill would have turned 90 years on Monday 7th January.
Bill was a loved life member, supporter and worker of the City United/Kedron Wavell Hockey club for many years. Many will remember he and Helen sitting on the hill near the shed at Burringbar Park only a couple of months ago cheering on his red and white Wolves players. Others will remember Bill as manager and friend of the top ladies team for many years.
Bill was a quiet gentleman and was loved by all.
