Congratulations to club stalwart Amanda Paech (nee Little) who this weekend hit 300 Brisbane Premier League (Division One) games. 299 of these for Kedron Wavell.
“Little” as she is fondly known is only the 7th female player to reach this amazing milestone and only the third female still currently playing at this level.
As a Kedron Wavell Junior, Paech debuted for Kedron Wavell Division 1 in 1996 at the age of 13 and was named as a full time Div 1 goal keeper the following year at 14.
In 2000 she moved to Easts for two seasons playing division 2 before returning to Kedron Wavell in 2002 and in 2009 she left Brisbane to work in the mines, travelling back to Brisbane on weekends to play hockey.
In 2017 Paech once again became Division 1 Keeper at Kedron Wavell and over the last couple of years has had a dream run with back to back premierships 2019 & 2020 and is the current Masters over 35 QLD and Australia Goal Keeper and Co Captain.
